Birthdays

December 4th our boys will be will be celebrating their 27th and 25th birthdays. Yes, they were born on the same day, 2 years 3 hours and 36 minutes apart. No, we didn't plan it that way. I was unable to use any form of birth control due to allergies, but once decided, that was all it took.
It certainly makes for a busy month.
Now that the boys are older we celebrate their birthdays at Christmas time.
With the boys in Waterloo, our daughter and her family in Cambridge, and my Dad in Mannheim when we all get together we try to celebrate the milestones.
This year will be different though.
My mom won't be with us this Christmas. She lost her battle with Alzheimers this spring.
It is a very cruel disease.

Paint

We found out this summer that the paint we thought we had inside the house is just a coloured primer/sealant. So we started the process of choosing a colour for our home. After about a month of bringing paint chips home we decided on porcelain white and an antique type blue. The fixtures will be black at least that is the thought at the moment.
I am in charge of painting the trim at the moment. It's an arduous task; not for the weak kneed. (like me)
But in just a few more weeks, I hope we will be done.

Thoughts....

Today in class we have been ask to create a blog. So....not being an outward person, this is gonna be tough.
I plan to just add whatever is current to the day I write.
